How this page gets its data

Every widget is a governed API call:

• rows come from POST /api/v1/query with the metric, geography, period and grouping the widget declares — never a table download;
• the distribution widget's quantiles come from /api/v1/analytics/measure-stats (the published distribution mart), and the scatterplot's fitted line comes from /api/v1/analytics/relationships;
• a widget whose measure is not built in this deployment is refused by the service with a reason, and that reason is what the frame shows.

The add-widget flow only offers metrics the deployment can execute right now, and only widget types compatible with the metric's surface, unit, geography and governed aggregation. Metrics the catalog lists but this deployment cannot execute are still listed, with the reason they are unavailable, so the catalog stays honest about what exists.
